My felicitations and heartfelt congratulations to the people of the municipalities of San Andres, Catanduanes on the occasion of your town fiesta on 39-30 November 2007.
Truly, your theme for this years celebration “Crossing the Threshold Through Political reforms, Economic and Socio-Cultural Upliftment Programs and Access And Equity to Administrative Governance,” Is appropriate and very timely because of the installation of newly-=elected officials at the municipal and Barangay levels. I firmly believe that with their vibrancy and new ideas on local governance, much will be achieved in the coming years in terms of countryside development. With meaningful autonomy and decentralization, I know that the local governments would do more in stirring this nation to progress.
Once again, I am congratulating the officials and people behind this celebration and I urge you to work hand-in-hand together with different sector of our society to fully realize our goals.
